BUILDING PROJECT PLANNING SHEET
Use this worksheet to organize and record ideas and important information before you begin the project. The project will include three (3) major components:
- a model, 2) a written report, and 3) a set of drawings.
The model of your building can be based upon an original design or one inspired by an existing or known structure or an exact replica of an existing or known structure.
The written report will consist of four (4) parts: a paragraph of background information, a set of step-by-step directions for building the model or persuasive letter, a list of materials used to build the model and a list of tools used to build the model.
The set of drawings will include at least 3 orthogonal views (top, front, side) and at least 1 three-dimensional (isometric or perspective) drawing.
The Project Report will include the following:
- Cover with title, your name, number homeroom and an appropriate visual
- Written Report (see above)
- Set of Drawings (see above)
- Building Project Planning Sheet
- Sketches/Notes/Measurements
- Completed Self-Evaluation
